Coco Explore is a free French guide to beaches, trails and dog-friendly spots across France — over 9,300 places reviewed, from the north coast to the Mediterranean. This English version is translated one department at a time: for now, the Var and the Alpes-Maritimes (French Riviera), with more on the way.
Why only two departments for now?
Coco Explore started as a French-language project, and the vast majority of its ~9,300 listings are still French-only. We're translating one department at a time, starting with the French Riviera — the Var, then the Alpes-Maritimes — a popular spot for international visitors travelling with dogs. More departments will follow.
In the meantime, the rest of the site — all 101 departments — is in French. Most browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge) can translate those pages automatically if you'd like to browse further.
