The vibe
Canicross 83 is a club affiliated with the Fédération des Sports et Loisirs Canins (FSLC - French dog sports and leisure federation), with group training sessions in the Tourves/Bras and Cuers areas. Several disciplines are offered: canicross, cani-mountain-biking, cani-walking/jogging, cani-hiking and ski-joring, so you can find the format that suits you and your dog.
What to know before you go
Training sessions take place on Wednesdays and Fridays in the Tourves/Bras area, and on Wednesdays plus either Monday or Friday in the Cuers area. The schedule is published every Sunday evening on Facebook and Instagram. A discovery pass offers 3 free trial sessions for beginners, supervised by certified instructors (BAF1/BAF2). The club also organises competitions, including "Canicross en Provence Verte". Membership is through a club form followed by a licence on the federation's platform (courses.ffslc.fr), over a season running from 1 September to 31 August; the exact membership fee is not published online — ask the club directly.
