The vibe

Right behind Toulon's train station, Parc de Lices spreads over 90,000 m² of green space in the heart of the city, with a dedicated dog park and an agility area confirmed by the City of Toulon. Plenty of room for your dog to stretch its legs on a proper long walk, without having to leave the urban area. Lead required, free and open access.

What to know before you go

The exact opening hours differ between sources: one lists 9am-9pm in July-August, another 9am-7pm "depending on the season" — check on site or on toulon.fr before planning a visit late in the day.

Coco's tip: take advantage of the park's wide open spaces for a longer walk than a stroll around the block, especially during the day when there's more foot traffic.

Nearby

Toulon's train station and town centre are right nearby, handy for combining the walk with other stops during the day.
