The city of Menton has set up fenced, secured spaces reserved for dogs, with a water point, to let them socialise and play off the leash.
What to know before you go
This is official information from Menton town hall (the "Facilities for dog owners" page on menton.fr): Parc Garavan, below Parc du Pian (10 avenue Blasco Ibañez), is confirmed open and fenced. The same page mentions a second area near the chemin de la Madone, whose completion status is not guaranteed — worth checking on site before heading there specifically for that reason.
Coco's tip: according to the same official page, Menton also has 3 beaches that allow dogs (Gorbio, Casino, Hawaï/Garavan) — a good way to combine a walk with a swim.
