The vibe
A campsite set in the hills just south of Grasse, the perfume capital, about fifteen kilometres from Cannes. A good compromise for those who want to enjoy the hinterland while staying close to the coast.
What to know before you book
According to several camping directories, leashed dogs are welcome in both low and high season, for a surcharge whose exact amount is not publicly stated. As usual, calling before booking lets you find out the precise terms (size, breed, rate).
Coco's tip: the campsite is close to a golf course and a shopping centre — handy for errands, but remember to ask for a shaded pitch for the hot summer days.
