The vibe

A human-scale family campsite in Six-Fours-les-Plages, well placed between Toulon and Bandol, with a clearly displayed and transparent dog rate: €2 per night for dogs outside the regulated categories.

What to know before you book

Brutal Beach, with its dog area, is nearby, as is the Gaou peninsula with its shaded trails. The area also makes it easy to reach Bandol and its Dog Beach, or La Seyne-sur-Mer and its Toutou Beach.
