The vibe
An upscale campsite belonging to the Homair chain, with a real plus for dog owners: Argens beach, an officially dog-friendly zone, is reachable on foot via a path crossing the protected Villepey wetlands.
What to know before you book
The campsite also has a private jetty for renting paddleboards and kayaks on the Argens river. Visitors who stayed here with their dog report a warm welcome, with a treat offered on arrival and a poop-bag dispenser near the beach access.
Coco's tip: the path to the beach crosses a protected natural area — keep your dog on a lead on this stretch.
