The vibe

The Carlton, with its unmistakable domes, has been one of the symbols of the Croisette since 1911. A historic palace hotel, private beach, view over the Bay of Cannes: a stay here is above all an exceptional experience, and as it happens dogs are welcome.

What to know before you book

According to a directory specialising in dog-friendly hotels, the establishment welcomes one dog or cat per room, up to 8kg, for a daily surcharge of around 100€ per animal (assistance animals remain free). Water and food bowls are reportedly provided. As with any palace hotel of this category, it's best to reconfirm these conditions directly on the official website or by phone before booking.
