The vibe

Cani Plouf occupies the Crique du Moulin, at the far end of Garonne beach in Le Pradet — a sheltered setting, away from the main swimming areas, designed entirely so dogs can enjoy it freely.

What to know before you go

Outside this cove, Le Pradet's other beaches (such as Les Oursinières) only tolerate dogs on leash from 1 November to 31 March — so Cani Plouf remains the only reliable year-round option, including in the middle of summer.

Coco's tip: if you're visiting in winter, you can also explore Les Oursinières beach with your dog on leash — a good complement to the dedicated cove.

Nearby

Le Pradet's coastal path, which follows the shore between the coves, is a nice option for extending the outing on foot.
