The vibe

Opened on 1 July 2026 and officially inaugurated on 30 July by the town hall, Pipady beach is Toulon's second dog beach, set on a cove at the foot of the Tour Royale. The 2000 m² space is fully fenced, which lets dogs roam off-leash safely, separated from other users of the site.

What to know before you go

Access is free and open year-round, every day. Clear signage organises the flow: swimmers and visitors are directed to the left, while a dedicated access on the right is reserved for dogs and their owners, to avoid conflicts between the two uses.

Coco's tip: the site is very new (opened mid-2026), so still little known — the perfect spot to enjoy a real moment of freedom with your dog without too many people around.

Nearby

The Tour Royale, a 15th-century historic monument, overlooks the beach. Toulon's other dog beach, Anse Tabarly, is also in the Mourillon area, just a few minutes away.
