Looking for a restaurant that accepts dogs in Port-Grimaud? Coco tested Le Grand Pin in person: dogs welcome on the terrace, right on the canals.

The vibe

In the heart of Port-Grimaud, almost with its feet in the water, Le Grand Pin serves traditional southern French cuisine on a covered terrace overlooking the port's canals — a pleasant spot to extend a stroll along the quays with your dog. The place mixes passing tourists with local regulars, a good sign of its consistency.

What to know before you go

Coco Explore ate here in person: very good food, a warm atmosphere, and two dogs settled at neighbouring terrace tables without any issue. According to an informal conversation on-site, dogs are welcome on the terrace, with no strict rule announced (size, muzzle) beyond ordinary common sense — it's best to simply mention it when you sit down. Two other practical points were reported to us the same way: the restaurant is said to be open roughly from early April to late October, and reportedly takes no reservations at all — you just show up, and if there's room, you eat.

Coco's tip: use the meal to extend your walk along the canals of Port-Grimaud, one of the few villages built around its own marina.
