The vibe

On the Plage du Débarquement in La Croix-Valmer, Nautic Beach serves Mediterranean cuisine (fish, meat, house cocktails created by chef Marco) alongside a snack menu (crêpes, ice cream, waffles), in a warm setting with your feet in the sand and a terrace set right on the beach.

What to know before you go

An important point to check before travelling here with your dog: our research found no confirmation that Nautic Beach itself welcomes dogs on its terrace. It did, however, turn up a worrying signal — the town of La Croix-Valmer reportedly banned dogs from its beaches again after granting an allowance in 2017, with the town's current general beach rules only tolerating leashed dogs between 10pm and 7am and banning them from swimming areas. We cannot confirm or rule out with certainty whether this applies to the restaurant's own terrace: call 04 94 81 39 01 before coming to be sure.

Coco's tip: to be safe, call ahead before making the trip with your dog — the municipal rule on dogs in La Croix-Valmer has clearly changed in recent years.
