The vibe

On this peninsula famous for its luxury villas, part of the Cros deï Pin beach, to the north, welcomes dogs on a leash — with the option of swimming, which isn't a given at the other spots in the area.

What to know before you go

The area sits just above the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat harbour — an easy landmark for finding the dog-friendly section without mistaking it for the rest of the beach.

Coco's tip: the Sentier des Douaniers coastal path that loops around the peninsula is a great walk to pair with the swim, even though dogs aren't allowed on a leash everywhere along it — best to check locally.

Nearby

Villefranche-sur-Mer and its Ange Gardien beach are a few minutes away, a good option if this one is too crowded.
