The vibe

Starting from Plage de Cabasson, this easy trail alternates between beaches and rocky stretches, with a stunning view of the Fort de Brégançon, secret coves and fragrant pine woods all along the route.

What to know before you go

Dogs are allowed on a leash on the trail itself (source: ville-bormes.fr and the Bormes tourist office). Beach access, however, differs precisely by spot: on Cabasson beach, dogs are banned from 15 June to 30 September (except assistance dogs), but allowed on leash the rest of the year; on the small Fort de Brégançon beach right next door, they're welcome year-round, summer included. Closed shoes are recommended, as the trail alternates between beaches and rocky areas. The walk is suitable for children. The Plage de Cabasson car park is paid from April to October (it's a private car park, rates vary by source between €11 and €13/day), but free in winter.

Coco's tip: to avoid the paid car park, you can start from La Londe-les-Maures (+9 km) — a simple trick worth the detour out of season.

Nearby

The Fort de Brégançon dominates the landscape, and Bormes-les-Mimosas is just a few minutes away to extend the walk.
