The vibe

A small sandy bay tucked between rocks and Provençal villas, Graniers beach sits just past the marine cemetery, at the foot of Saint-Tropez's Citadel. It's one of the smallest public beaches in town (94 metres long), but also one of the most unspoiled — its setting feels remarkably natural despite being right next to the historic centre.

What to know before you go

As on the town's other beaches, the July 2026 municipal order allows dogs on leash from 6am to 9.30am and 6.30pm to 10pm, from 16 July to 15 September; banned the rest of the day during that period, with more relaxed rules off-season. This beach's listing on the tourist office's own site doesn't mention any specific dog hours at all — absent more precise information, trust the signage posted on site on the day of your visit.

Coco's tip: come early morning — the beach is tiny and fills up fast in summer, and that's also the allowed window for your dog.

Nearby

Saint-Tropez's historic centre and Citadel are a few minutes' walk away, as are the tiny Ponche and Fontanette beaches. Canebiers beach lies a little further east.
