The vibe
Around the Gulf of Saint-Tropez — Cogolin, Sainte-Maxime, Grimaud — several confirmed places to stay accept dogs. Camping Sunêlia L'Argentière, in Cogolin itself (entrance next to the Château Saint-Maur, 1.5 km from the centre), admits dogs on request at booking, on pitches and most mobile homes, with a supplement. The Gîte de France ref. G625, in Sainte-Maxime, has a pool and accepts dogs (the owner has pets of their own). Grimaud's tourist office also publishes a dedicated page listing hotels, campsites, residences and B&Bs that accept dogs in the Grimaud / Port Grimaud area — a useful resource for widening your options.
What to know before you book
On rental platforms, filtering by "pets allowed" is still useful, but a direct message to the owner or campsite often gets you details missing from the listing (number of dogs, excluded breeds, possible deposit).
Nearby
Cogolin's harbour and the gulf's beaches round out a stay in the area nicely, as do Port Grimaud and Sainte-Maxime, a few minutes away by car. On the spot, the Cogolin dog wash and the Riviera Vet practice in Sainte-Maxime are handy to keep in mind during your stay.
